Midweek Mass Watch
Please note there is no Mass on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday there is no 8.30 am Mass owing to the Requiem Mass of Joe Pereira.

HEAD COUNT. Would the collectors please count all heads in church this weekend. Don’t forget to include the choir, the altar servers and the children out in their Liturgy of the Word. Same again next week.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION ENROLMENT
Would any parents who missed the meeting last week please enrol your child by adding their name to the list on display in the Lady Chapel at St Thomas Aqauinas Church {after one of the Masses there}. Also please sign and take home the parental promise to say that you will do your best to bring your child to Mass every weekend.

ACADEMIC MASS, 4.30 pm Tuesday at St Thomas Aquinas School. A Mass for all who are associated with our local Catholic Schools. An invitation is also extended to the many Catholics who work in non-Catholic schools.

WEDDING BELLS. Blessings upon Jennifer Hinchcliffe and Andrew McAuliffe who were married yesterday. The last of our high number of weddings this year, all happy occasions.

PARISH FAIR. Thank you for remembering to bring in a bottle today for our November Fair. Next week would you kindly bring in some nice cosmetics and/or jewellery? Many thanks.

PARISH WEBSITE. Many thanks to parishioners Frank and Delphine who have been working on upgrading our website which, I am told, is ready to go “live” very soon. We want all parish groups to have their own section, so would a delegate from each group please contact Delphine at: delphine@stonewolfe.co.uk giving a good plug for their group together with photos, stories, history, etc.

SECOND COLLECTION TODAY for CAFOD
Many thanks to all who helped towards the success of last week’s Harvest celebration. It raised £1,427.

MAY HE REST IN PEACE
Joe Pereira, late of South Lawne, who died on Monday. Joe’s funeral Mass is on Friday at 10 am at All Saints Church. Please remember his wife, Rosita, and their family at this sad time.
