SENIORS’ PARTY.
Didn’t we have a luvverly time? Our thanks to John and all his team for ‘laying on’ such a wonderful party for our senior parishioners who certainly know how to enjoy themselves! There was no stopping them!

YOUR CLERGY continue to cover Masses at Woburn Sands while Fr Ken Bowen is on leave and Fr Mark Elvins covers Winslow. This is a good example of our new Pastoral Area ‘pulling together’.

BAPTISM PREPARATION.
Congratulations if you have a baby for baptism. Come to our meeting on Thursday, 8 – 9 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room and all will be explained.

MAY HE REST IN PEACE.
Wieslaw Czyzynski, aged 89, late of Milton Grove who died on Sunday. His Requiem Mass is on Wednesday, 2.15 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church. Please remember his wife Beata and the family in your prayers.

READING IN LENT
A Morning for Readers, explaining the Lenten Readings, their meaning and proclamations with Fr John Deehan and Mrs Kay Edwards.
Saturday 25th February: 10 am – 1 pm
St Paul’s School.
Readers at Mass would benefit enormously from attending this session. Our parish will subsidise the £5. For any reader who wants to go and I hope every reader will attend. Please collect an Application Form from the back of church.

SING A NEW SONG TO THE LORD.Please do your best to join in the singing of the Mass setting that we have recently introduced, incorporating the new translation.

CATHOLIC PARLIAMENTARY AND PUBLIC POLICY INTERNSHIPS.
For the last nine years the Catholic Bishops’ Conference has organised Parliamentary and Public Policy Internships for recently graduated Catholics. This year we are looking to offer 8 internships. 5 interns will be placed with Christian MPs at Westminster; 2 in Public Policy with CAFOD and CARITAS Social Action Networks and 1 in a media internships at Archbishop’s House, Westminster.
All internships will run from September 2012 – July 2013 and include accommodation and subsistence allowances.
