SECOND COLLECTION today for the Priests’ Training Fund (unless you are contributing to Together In Faith). 

TODAY, at the 11 o’clock Mass, Abigail Maria Jacob Pereira will be baptised.

SIGNING DIARIES.  Will all signatories please take care to ensure that they only sign the diary of a child they have seen at the Mass.  Similarly, would children with diaries please sit where you can be easily seen.  Also, many diaries still do not contain a photograph of the child ~ would parents please put one in.  Thank you.

PHOENIX YOUTH GROUP meets this Tuesday (1st May) 7 – 9 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room.

POLLING STATION.  On Thursday local people come to vote at our Meeting Room at St Thomas Aquinas.

DIVINE MERCY DEVOTIONS next Sunday.

‘SERVICE’ Cards.  On arrival at church today, our Welcomers will be distributing cards which, as a Catholic, you might like to carry in your wallet or handbag.  There are adapted words of Blessed John Henry Newman on the front with a list of our ‘commitments’ as Catholics on the reverse.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PARENTS.  A meeting for parents with children at St Thomas Aquinas School ~ 6.30 pm Monday 30th April at St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room.

MAY HE REST IN PEACE
Douglas Tanswell, aged 71 years, late of Chepstow Drive.  Dougie has been a Eucharistic Minister in the hospital and at the 6.30 pm Mass for many years and a well-loved member of our parish.  His funeral Mass is on Monday 30th April, 11 am at All Saints.

THE ROSARY will be said after 10 am Mass at All Saints Church on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month of May ~ led by the Legion of Mary.

ST MAUREEN FARRELL FCJ, who worked at Christ the Cornerstone 1986-1993, died on 20th March.  There will be a Memorial Service for her at 7.30 pm on 22nd May at Christ the Cornerstone.
