Midweek Mass Watch No Change to this week’s Masses

SECOND COLLECTION today for the Apostleship of the Sea
Today is Sea Sunday, when the Church remembers all those who live and work at sea. Apostleship of the Sea reaches out to seafarers that visit our ports each year offering pastoral and practical support and care.  AoS is wholly dependent on voluntary donations to continue its work;  it takes the love of Christ to seafarers in the name of the Church, recognising them as our brothers and sisters in need.Visit website www.apostleshipofthesea.org.uk

Families in Sao Paulo, Brazil are being faced with eviction from their homes.  Amongst them are the 237 families of the CAFOD Connect2Brazil Community of Maua with whom CAFOD has been working for many years.  If evicted they will be homeless on the streets, among them about 250 children, older people, pregnant women and people with disabilities.  Please visit website:  www.cafod.org.uk/northampton and follow the links to the Petition.  We need to collect as many signatures as we can by 9th July before the police move in.  Thank You.

CAFOD Lent Appeal.  Given the exceptionally generous response of the Catholic Community to this Appeal, please see the letter on the Notice Board at back of church, giving an initial update on how the resources entrusted to CAFOD are being used.

I Never Knew This!

Shampoo Warning

I don’t know WHY I didn’t figure this out sooner!

I use shampoo in the shower

ALL DO …

When I wash my hair, the shampoo runs down my

whole body and printed on the shampoo label

is this warning.

‘FOR EXTRA VOLUME AND BODY”

No wonder I have been gaining weight!

Well, I got rid of that shampoo and I am

going to start showering with Palmolive liquid

instead because the label reads …

“DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE

DIFFICULT TO REMOVE”.

Problem Solved ..

If |I don’t answer, I’ll be in the shower!
