A BIG THANK YOU to Fr Joseph, Rev Noel and the Parish Team for leading the parish from strength to strength over the last three months.  Also to all the parishioners who help in so many ways week by week, especially those who helped Fr Joseph with transport, advice etc.  Also to Fr Mark Elvins in residence in the presbytery at Winslow and to the parishioners there.
My time of Sabbatical was a period to reflect, re-create, renew and refresh.  I found it a most blessed experience which will enhance my priestly ministry among you, for a week or two at least!!

WEDDING BELLS.  Congratulations to Michelle Jessop and Gary Simmonds of Warwick Road, whose Nuptial Mass was yesterday at All Saints.

ONE OF THE CHARISMS of our parish is that we have an excellent structure in place for people to be visited in their homes, care homes or in hospital.  We have a wonderful team of volunteers who undertake this important ministry.  However, it is vital that people inform us if they are away from Mass and require a visit, otherwise we are not to know.  Please do not rely on other people happening to notice that you are absent from Mass, or you may get missed out.  All it takes is a quick phone call to the Parish Office (01908 372315).

WATCHING THE OLYMPICS?  Keep an eye on the crowd at the Olympic Athletics Stadium on Tuesday night and you might just spot your priests cheering on Team GB and India!
