Midweek Mass Watch There are no changes to the normal schedule
Fr Michael and Fr Joseph Training Course has been Cancelled for Monday 22nd October 2012.
Mass will be on Monday 22nd October 2012 10am followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at St Thomas Aquinas Church.

NEW CHALICES FOR ALL SAINTS.  We have replaced our cracked ceramic chalices with four new silver-plated ones.  “Thank You” to Our Lady of Fatima Prayer Group whose donation has paid for one of them.

PARISH BARN DANCE.  Saturday, 3rd November, 7.30 pm, Sycamore Hall, Water Eaton.  Great fun for all the family, although not suitable for very small children.  Tickets on sale today. Family £20, Child £2.50, Adult £7.50.  A barn dance is an ideal occasion to mingle and make friends. Roll Up to strip that willow!

Bishop Peter was in our parish this week, celebrating Mass in Bishop Parker School, notably on the occasion of the “retirement” from the school of Angela White, in recognition of over 35 years of sterling service in the chaplaincy. However, you can’t keep Angela away: she will be in one morning a week to help with the liturgies.

Baptism Preparation Meeting. Thursday 8-9pm in St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room, for all parents who have a baby for baptism.

Boxes, Little Boxes. Plenty of them lie unclaimed at All Saints Church, on the heaters. Please pick up yours today. Thank you.

Why not pay your offering to the Church by way of Standing Order, the more convenient way.  Just let us know by dropping this slip in the basket.

An exasperated mother, whose son was always getting into mischief, finally asked him, “How do you expect to get into Heaven?”

The boy thought it over and said, “Well, I’ll just run in and out and in and out and keep slamming the door until St. Peter says, ‘For Heaven’s sake, Jimmy, come in or stay out!'”
