EXTRA MASS 10 am Saturday 8th December at All Saints to celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Although not a Holyday of Obligation in this country, it is so in many other countries and people like to attend Mass in honour of Our Lady.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE
Pearl Coppeletti, late of Albert Street, whose Funeral Mass is on Tuesday, 11 am at St Thomas Aquinas.
Pat Simms, late of Hungerford House, whose funeral was on Tuesday.

SENIOR PARISHIONERS are welcome to St Thomas Aquinas School on Friday, 14th December for the Infants Nativity.  Mince Pies and Mulled Wine from 12.45 pm ~ children on stage at 1.30 pm

NEW DIARIES FOR 2013 will be issued at a Meeting on Monday 10th December 7 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room.  If you want your child to start at any Catholic Primary School in September 2014 and will be requesting a reference from me, Fr Michael, it is essential that you attend this meeting and begin to use the diary at Sunday Mass throughout 2013.

NB:  Next year, diaries will only be required for Primary School entrants (St Bernadette’s, St Monica’s, Bishop Parker, St Thomas Aquinas etc.) and not for St Paul’s Secondary School.  For St Paul’s, I will do intermittent checks throughout the year which will not require the use of a diary.

FIRST RECONCILIATION.  6.30 pm on Monday we have a Service for parents of this year’s class (no children at this service please).  A time of prayer plus the opportunity for parents to receive the grace and healing of the Sacrament of Reconciliation for themselves, prior to their child’s First Reconciliation on Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30 pm.  All at St Thomas Aquinas Church.

ROSARY LINK.  Prayer and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will follow the 8.30 a.m. Mass this Friday.  Prayers for vocations to the priesthood in our Diocese.

May God Bless Us All

Fr Michael
