TODAY IS THE BAPTISM OF THE LORD

CONFIRMATION CLASSES commence on Friday 18th January in readiness for when Bishop Peter comes to confer the Sacrament to our youngsters on the 13th March.

“First Sitting” youngsters meet 6 pm – 7 pm

“Second Sitting” 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm

Please double-check your sitting and turn up on time 

It is the expectation that all candidates are attending Sunday (or Saturday evening) Mass.

 MAY THEY REST IN PEACE
David Thomas, aged 81, husband of Carmel, late of Cheneys Walk whose funeral is on Tuesday the 15th, 1 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church.
George Payne, late of Thames Drive and who died on Christmas Day.  His funeral is on Tuesday the 15th, 3 pm at All Saints Church.
Martin Robert Dunsford, aged 67, late of Caraway Close, Walnut Tree.  His funeral service is onThursday the 17th,  10 am at St Thomas Aquinas Church.
Myrtle Hinds, aged 71, late of Grasmere Way and who died on New Year’s Day.  Her funeral service is on Monday the 21st , 2.45 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church.
Please remember the families in your prayers at this sad time.

INCIDENT ALL SAINTS CAR PARK
There was an incident on Sunday 30th December involving two vehicles.   We currently have the details of one of the parties (Monica) but it would be appreciated if the other person involved could contact the Parish Office as soon as possible.

LUX.MAIDEN Is a residential weekend for young people of secondary school age, on 1st – 3rd February, held at King’s Park Conference Centre in Northampton.
Now at a reduced rate of £40.

CATHOLIC PARLIAMENTARY and PUBLIC POLICY INTERNSHIPS
For the last ten years the Catholic Bishops Conference has organised Parliamentary and Public Policy Internships for recently graduated Catholics. This year we are looking to offer at least 6 internships.  Three interns will be placed with Christian MPs at Westminster, two in public policy with CAFOD and one in a media internship in Archbishop’s House, Westminster.

All internships will run from September 2013 – July 2014 and include accommodation and subsistence allowances.
