Newsletter: 17th March 2013

Midweek Mass Watch  Extra Mass, 10 am Saturday at All Saints during Lent.   Otherwise there are no changes to the usual schedule.

WELCOME POPE FRANCIS!  Every blessing be upon him as he begins his leadership of our Holy Mother Church.  Ad Multos Annos.

CONFIRMATION.  Many thanks to all who helped to catechise the young people and helped to make Wednesday’s Mass so special for them.  It was lovely to welcome Bishop Peter to the parish.  Though I say it myself, we run a very good Confirmation programme, all thanks to the many gifted parishioners who are so willing to give of their talents when called upon.  Congratulations to all the youngsters who are now full members of the Catholic Church, having received all three Sacraments of Initiation:  Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.  May they be faithful to Christ their whole lives.

FOUR ADULTS will be Confirmed during the Easter Vigil Mass and so join our Catholic family.  Please remember them in your prayers:  Tom, Eric, Suzanne and Natalie.

WINTER WEDDING.  Blessings upon Tracy Smith and Vincenzo Mongiardi who were joined in holy matrimony yesterday.

FOR THIS MONTH ONLY you can pick up your Baptismal forms from the Parish Office as there is no Baptism Preparation Meeting this month (next one 25th April).
