Newsletter:23rd June 2013

PETER’s PENCE [Francis’s Florins?] Today’s Second Collection goes directly to Rome to help with the expenses of our new Holy Father.

WEEKLY HOLY HOUR Our Monday morning Mass at St Thomas Aquinas Church is always followed by twenty minutes of silent adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction, ending at 11 am.
I have received requests for a similar weekly devotion to be held at All Saints Church. Therefore, we will begin in September to have adoration after the Tuesday 10 o’clock Mass, possibly on a monthly basis, to see how great is the demand.

BAPTISM PREPARATION Do you have a baby for baptism? If so, congratulations! Please come to our meeting on Thursday, 8 – 9 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room. Please leave the baby with sitters and come and hear about our procedures. We need to know that you are committed to bring your child up in the practice of the faith. We also require evidence of your own Roman Catholic baptism. If your child for baptism is no longer a baby, please have a chat with one of the priests about how to proceed. We look forward to seeing you.
