WEDDING BELLS Blessings upon Sarah Haworth and Wayne Farmer who were married yesterday at St Thomas Aquinas Church.

Blessings too upon Lee and Anne D’Mello on their Silver Wedding celebrations.

PHOENIX YOUTH GROUP meet Tuesday, 7 – 9 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room, for young people in School Year 8 up to and including 6th formers. Please bring £2. subs for the drinks and goodies, then be prepared for anything as no two meetings are ever the same!

CAFOD HUNGRY FOR CHANGE CAMPAIGN
At all Masses over the weekend of 13 and 14 July, we will be asking everyone to Sign a Petition to David Cameron concerning the Hungry for Change campaign. The balance of power in our food system is tipped towards global companies, rather than small scale farmers who need vital support to make a decent living from the food they grow.
Please support this CAFOD campaign. Thank You

MILTON KEYNES FOOD BANK From Monday 8th July we will be supporting the Food Bank by having a Collection Point at each church. The Food Bank helps local families here in Milton Keynes who are in dire need providing them with emergency food supplies.
We would appreciate donations such as:
Breakfast cereal – sugar – long life milk – long life juice – tinned spaghetti – vegetables – fruit – meat – tomatoes – baked beans – rice pudding – tuna – dried pasta – dried rice – pasta sauce – jam – biscuits – ‘cuppa’ soup – soup – tea bags.
No perishables please and contributions should be ‘in date’.

DIVINE MERCY DEVOTIONS
Today, 3 – 4 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church. Prayers and Exposition followed by ‘yummy’ refreshments in the Meeting Room
NB: There will be no devotions in August.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE
Lelia Yates (previously Lelia Reilly), aged 82 years, late of The Cottage, Buckingham Road, previously of Warwick Road; a faithful parishioner of longstanding. Lelia’s Funeral Mass is on Thursday, 12.30 pm at All Saints Church. Please remember her husband Joe and daughters Mary and Jeanette and their families at this sad time.

MASS FOR YEAR 6’s
On Friday Fr Michael celebrates Mass in St Paul’s School for the Year 6 children of the five Catholic Primary Schools in Milton Keynes, including our two parish schools Bishop Parker and St Thomas Aquinas. This ‘transfer’ Mass is in addition to the Leavers’ Mass in each school.

100 CLUB 2013
Proceeds from this year’s 100 Club is going to support the work and challenges of Willen Hospice.
It’s easy to join ~ just send in cash or a £12. cheque made payable to: St Thomas Aquinas 100 Club for one year’s subscription. Return the Application Form to one of the clergy or Angela White or simply place the completed form, in an envelope, in the Collection Basket at Mass.
