TOGETHER IN FAITH UPDATE
Thank you to those parishioners who have been contributing to the Diocesan Fund Raising Campaign for the last two or three years to help finance our retired priests, seminarians and training of lay people. So far our parishioners have contributed a staggering £181,276. which is still increasing. Of this, £36,521. has been raised towards our parish projects – new pews for St Thomas Aquinas Church and a new toilet for All Saints. Sadly, we did not receive enough pledges to finance a new sanctuary at All Saints, perhaps a project for a future date. I believe that some funds will be released shortly, so we may be able to install new pews at St Thomas Aquinas before too long. It is never too late to join the campaign; just contact the parish office.
Meanwhile, on behalf of Bishop Peter, I thank you for your generous response to Together In Faith.
PS: Our next Parish Priest, Fr Christopher’s seminary training costs have benefitted from Together In Faith contributions, so we are all to be beneficiaries from your generosity. Thank You.

FOOD BANK ITEMS URGENTLY REQUIRED
Long Life Juice: Long Life Milk: Tinned Fish:
Rice Pudding: Tinned Fruit: Jam: Tinned Vegetables
During July the parish donated 47 bags of food to the Food Bank – many thanks. Please continue to support this very good cause assisting local people in need. Thanks.

MAY I WISH all parishioners who are travelling away on holiday, a happy and safe voyage. For those staying at home, a relaxing stay in sunny M.K. !

May God Bless Us All

Fr Michael
