WOULD YOU LIKE TO TEACH IN A CATHOLIC SCHOOL?

This is an invitation to practising Catholic teachers who want to think about finding a place in a Catholic school.  As a diocese our schools invite you to consider applying for posts in one of our schools whether you have never taught there or would like to consider returning.

WELCOME FR CLEMENT!

Our old friend has come to be with us for the summer, taking a break from his parish and teaching work in Kenya.  Fr Clement is with us for two months, covering our priests’ leave, as we need two priests in order to cover Winslow Parish as well as the two Bletchley churches.

ARE YOU THINKING OF BECOMING A CATHOLIC?

In September we intend to run our annual “Journey In Faith” course of instruction, which will run through until Easter 2014.  We already have three people interested:  Jenny, Fortune and Marjorie, so the course will definitely go ahead.

The more the merrier, so if you fancy coming along to learn a little more about our wonderful Catholic faith, or even if you are just a little curious, please give your name to one of the clergy and/or look out for when the course will begin.

BAPTISMS

Today we welcome through word and action into the Body of Christ, the Church, Jaden Jesus Whiting  and Anica Kumar-Sousa.

 SCHOOLS ADMISSIONS SEPTEMBER 2014

Please continue to have your child’s diary signed at Sunday Mass (at the time of the Children’s Liturgy of the Word), for primary school age.  For St Paul’s School, Fr Michael has been doing random “spot checks” at many various Masses throughout the year.

FAREWELL TO

FR MICHAEL and FR JOSEPH

Your priests will move from Bletchley to their new appointments on Tuesday, 1st October.

A farewell Mass of Thanksgiving, followed by a chance to say ‘goodbye’ (along with a bit of a “do”) will take place on the evening of

Monday 30th September.

More details soon.  Please keep that date free.

May God Bless Us All

Fr Michael
