ADVENT DAY OF RECOLLECTION Saturday 21st December 10 am – 2 pm St Thomas Aquinas Church

NEW YEAR’s DAY  Mass for the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God on New Year’s Day will be celebrated at 10 am at St Thomas Aquinas and 11 am at St Alban’s, Winslow.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS TO THE  SICK AND HOUSEBOUND Eucharistic Minister crosses and lapel badges have now arrived.  If you are a Eucharistic Minister and would like one please call in to the Parish Office to collect one.  If you still require the updated service cards, these are also available.

HOLY COMMUNION
Due to the large number of people who will attend Mass in our churches on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Holy Communion will be administered in “one kind” only, i.e. only the Host will be distributed.  Extra-Ordinary Ministers of the Eucharist are asked to come forward, as usual, to help to distribute the Sacred Host.

ST STEPHENS DAY 26th December (Boxing Day)
Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon in St Thomas Aquinas Church.  There will be no 10 am Mass at All Saints.  All our Altar Servers are invited to attend this special Mass at which St Stephen Guild Medals will be presented to those who have completed one year of regular serving.

CHRISTMAS MASS ROTAS These can now be found at back of church for servers, Eucharistic Ministers and readers.  Please ‘sign up’ on the clipboards.

2013 PARISH DIARIES Many thanks to all who have handed in diaries for 2014 Catholic School Admissions.  Where addresses were supplied, emails have now been sent out to all parents and letters have been posted to those for whom we did not have an email address.  If you have not received an email or a letter from us please contact the Parish Office as soon as possible.  To those who use email, don’t forget to check your “spam folder”!

MANY THANKS Fr Prince and I wish to thank you all for the many Christmas cards and gifts we have received and, above all, for welcoming us so warmly into the Parish.  We are both very happy to be living and working among you for the sake of Christ and His Church.  May his peace and blessing be with you and your families this Christmastide and throughout 2014.

With every blessing for the week ahead

Father Christopher Perry
