OUR PARISH SCHOOLS At the end of Mass today representatives of each of the governing bodies of St Thomas Aquinas School and Bishop Parker School will outline the proposed changes with regard to School leadership and how people can air their comments. 

FEAST OF ST THOMAS AQUINAS 28th January
To celebrate Our Patronal Feast Day there will be Mass on Tuesday, 28th January at 7.30 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church followed by refreshments in the Meeting Room.  Please do come and mark this special day in the life of our Parish.

CONFIRMATION 2014 List of dates and names are now at the back of church.

CRIB OFFERINGS This year  these offerings were assigned to the’ work’ of the SVP.  A total of £68.30p was given for which grateful thanks has been received.

FOR 2014 ADMISSIONS There is no need to enclose a Baptism Certificate with your supplementary form for Bishop Parker, St Thomas Aquinas or St Paul’s School if your child was baptised here in Bletchley.

MARATHON MAN! Peter O’Sullivan (a regular at 11 am Mass) is going to run the London Marathon in April in aid of CAFOD.  For the next three months all money raised at CAFOD events will go towards this project.  Please give him as much support as you can.  The website for direct donations is: www.virginmoneygiving.com/peterosullivan

DIARY SIGNING 2014

If you have been given a diary for 2014 school admission please ensure it is stamped every weekend before mass and after mass i.e “two stamps are required per Mass”.   Diaries will be stamped at the 9am and 11am Sunday Masses at the back of All Saints Church at a designated table.

St Thomas Aquinas Church 6pm Saturday Mass the diaries will be stamped in the Sacristy located at the front of the church on the left hand side. Diaries will not be stamped after mass has started, so please ensure that you arrive in church in plenty of time.

CES Religious Education Adviser (England and Wales) part-time vacancy
We are looking to appoint an RE Adviser (P/T) to provide advice to the CES on Religious Education, to help develop CES responses to issues facing RE in schools and colleges, to build relations with diocesan colleagues, the National Board of Religious Inspectors and Advisers (NBRIA), relevant government officials and others.  The role will be based in the Eccleston Square office in London but may require travel to other areas within England and Wales.  The role will be based on 0.5 FTE (17.5 hours per week) although with some flexibility.  Closing Date Friday 14th February 2014
