 SCHOOL ADMISSIONS 2016

If your child will be starting School in 2016 and you require a reference from Fr Christopher to support an application to a Catholic School, then you will need to register for a diary which is stamped at each Mass as a record of your child’s Church attendance.  There will be a registration evening for parents on Monday 8th December at 7 pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church Meeting Room. Without a completed diary Fr Christopher is unable to issue references.  (Diaries are not required for Catholic Secondary Schools).

Invites all ‘senior’ parishioners to their Reception and Key Stage 1 Christmas Production on Thursday. Doors open at 1 pm for mince pies and mulled wine.

 

“THE GIVING TREE”

Please take a tag and buy a present for someone extra this year.  Wrap it (if the item is not food), label it and return it under the tree.  Your gift will be gratefully received by someone locally or overseas.

 

CATHOLIC NURSERY PLACES

We have a Catholic Nursery in our parish, at Bishop Parker School.  Spaces available for children 3+ to start in January 2015.  Information:  01908 372129.

 

PHOENIX YOUTH GROUP

The next and last meeting of the Phoenix Youth Group of 2014 is on Tuesday, 23rd December, 7 pm ~ St Thomas Aquinas Meeting Room.

The Phoenix will “rise again” in 2015!

Theresa Martuccio, aged 92, late of Cottingham Grove whose Funeral is on Monday, 12 noon at St Thomas Aquinas.

Lucien Marcel Duranthon, aged 96, late of Roche Gardens, whose Funeral is on Monday, 2.15 pm at All Saints.  Lucien’s body will be received into church on Sunday at 5.30 pm.

Oscar Eric Suarez, aged 84, late of Forfar Drive whose Funeral is on Wednesday, 1.45 pm at St Thomas Aquinas.

Dominica Cerrone, late of Cambridge Street whose Funeral is on Thursday, 1.30 pm at St Thomas Aquinas.

 

NEW ALTAR SERVERS

Training on Sunday, 14th December after 11 am Mass at All Saints with Bernard Guina.

 

CTB SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE CONCERT

Ecumenical Group representing Christian Churches in Bletchley.  This month’s event is on Sunday, 20th December at Starbucks Café, Bletchley Leisure Centre.  Free entrance ~ doors open at 7 pm.

 

CHRISTMAS FAYRE

The winner of the Traidcraft Hamper was Green Ticket 159 – the hamper has been collected.  Many thanks to those who donated items from the Christmas Fayre to the Food Bank.
