PARISH LENT REFLECTION
“The Call, the Journey and the Mission”
In preparation for the Ordinary Synod on the Family in October 2015, when Bishop Peter Doyle and Vincent Cardinal Nichols will represent England and Wales, Pope Francis has asked us all to reflect with ‘true spiritual discernment’ on themes relating to marriage and family life. Such spiritual reflection is truly for all people: single, married, widowed and divorced. To aid us in the process of reflection our Bishops have published ‘The Call, the Journey and the Mission’ in which we are presented with Holy Scripture passages and quotes from Pope Francis. There will be an ‘Open Parish Meeting’ (chaired by Fr Wayne Coughlin) to discuss the questions posed in the document:

It is wonderful to welcome our five candidates: Amanda, Kerrie, Sian, Stacey and Tapiwa (Herbert) who have now been received into full Communion with the Catholic Church. Please pray for them as they continue to walk with God and grow in faith.
ALL SAINTS – CAR PARK
Please do not leave children unsupervised in the car park at All Saints. Last Sunday an accident was narrowly avoided and a child could have been seriously injured. Please also continue to be considerate of our neighbours in Corfe Crescent and ensure that the road is not blocked. Thank You.
EASTER OFFERING – THANK YOU!
Fr Prince and I are deeply appreciative of the generosity of your Easter Offering. It provides us with small income which we would not otherwise have for which we are both very grateful.
Thank you for supporting your Priests!
SEPO IN ACTION
Caron Callaghan and a small group have safely arrived in Zambia. In the first few days Emma and Frances ran a 2-day Sounds-Write Course. Sounds-Write is a quality first phonics programme. It is a highly successful approach to the teaching of reading, spelling and writing and was attended by 21 teachers/teacher assistants. All participants graduated and received their certificates of Passing. The group have also visited the Mother Earth project which supports around 30 families by farming moringa. A second Sounds-Write Course is currently underway. A visit has also been made to the Comboni Missionary Sisters to discuss the Skills Centre. You can follow SEPO’s trip in Zambia on Facebook:
The Readers’ Rota to operate from Saturday 4th April has now been issued to all registered Readers on E-mail. Anyone not on E-mail, who requires a copy, please contact John Scott on 07743508627.

Three men were walking on a wall, Feeling, Faith and Fact. When Feeling got an awful fall, then Faith was taken back. So close was Faith to Feeling, that he stumbled and fell too but Fact remained and pulled Faith back, and Faith brought Feeling too !!
