ASSUMPTION OF THE

BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

WELCOME BACK FR CLEMENT KARATHI

Fr Clement is now with us again from Kenya to provide cover in Fr Prince’s absence and to allow Fr Christopher to take a holiday in late September. We pray he has a happy and enjoyable time with us in Bletchley.

GOODBYE

‘It has been a privilege to be with you for the past two years. I felt very much loved and accepted by you in spite of all my limitations. I am going away from you with lots of loving memories to cherish and share with others. You will always be in my prayers. Please keep me in your prayers.

Thank You Very Much for everything’.

Goodbye and God Bless

Fr Prince

CAFOD – NEPAL UPDATE

Catholics in England and Wales have responded with great generosity, donating more than £3 million to CAFOD’s Nepal Earthquake Appeal.  Our Diocese raised about £103k. Thanks to your generous response, our Church partners in Nepal were able to start responding immediately after the earthquake reaching more than 294,000 people in the first three months with food, shelter and hygiene and sanitation kits.  It will take many years for Nepal to recover, but we will help people rebuild their lives for the long term.
