PILGRIMAGE TO ASSISI 2016:  Monday 16th May to Monday 23rd May with Fr Wayne Coughlin, Great Missenden.

Assisi – the home of St Francis and St Clare!’ Fr Christopher will help lead the pilgrimage. Details from Joanna Hale: £1000 (single room) and less for those who share.

 PILGRIMAGE TO ROME 2016:  Monday 30th May to Friday 3rd June. All are invited to join Fr Michael Patey (St Martin’s Parish, Luton) on a pilgrimage to Rome during the Jubilee Year of Mercy. Accommodation in the shadow of St Peter’s with full tours of holy and ancient sites, daily Mass and papal audience. £725 per person. MK FOOD BANK Supporters of Milton Keynes Food Bank have produced a short collection of poetry and poems for sale to raise funds. The booklets are at the back of the church and cost £1. Each. Please put the money in the ‘books’ slot.

CAFOD – NEPAL UPDATE Catholics in England and Wales have responded with great generosity, donating more than £3 million to CAFOD’s Nepal Earthquake Appeal.  Our Diocese raised about £103k. Thanks to your generous response, our Church partners in Nepal were able to start responding immediately after the earthquake reaching more than 294,000 people in the first three months with food, shelter and hygiene and sanitation kits.  It will take many years for Nepal to recover, but we will help people rebuild their lives for the long term.

BAPTISM PREPARATION EVENING: Thursday 27th August 8pm, St Thomas Aquinas Church Meeting Room. If you would like to have your child Baptised then please attend this meeting for parents.

DO YOU WANT TO BECOME A CATHOLIC? If you are considering becoming a Catholic, or would like a bit of a refresher, then please contact the Parish Office and Register for the 2015-2016 “Journey in Faith Course”. The Course will begin on the 8th October at St Thomas Aquinas Church, 7.45 pm – 9 pm and will continue on Thursday evenings until Easter 2016.

PROCLAIM ’15 – Northampton 15 Proclaim ’15 is a significant initiative to support the development of local evangelisation in England and Wales. It is offered as a practical response to Pope Francis’ teaching and example. Please do explore how your parish can get involved and proclaim the reality of God’s unconditional love, as we begin to prepare too for the forthcoming Jubilee Year of Mercy.
