HARVEST FAST DAY

The Harvest Fast Day lunch last week raised £150! Many thanks to all who attended and especially to our chefs Eileen and Bernadette. Donations will enable CAFOD partners to work with people across the world to have access to tools and training and empower them to become self-sufficient despite living in the most difficult of conditions. Additionally, donations this Fast Day will be used to fund our partners work in Europe and the Middle East to support those affected by the refugee crisis.

ADMISSION TO OUR

CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOLS 2016

If you are currently getting a diary stamped for your child, please note that the ‘on-line’ Admissions System at Milton Keynes Council is now open. In addition you must complete a Supplementary Form for each Catholic School that you add as a choice. These are now available from each of the School Offices. Diaries need to be handed in to Fr Christopher after the 6pm Mass on Saturday 28th November or the 9am or 11am Mass on Sunday 29th November. THINKING OF TEACHING?

Are you, or someone that you know thinking of a career in teaching? St Thomas Aquinas and Bishop Parker Schools are part of the North Herts Catholic Primary Alliance, a group of schools working together to recruit and train teachers for our Catholic schools alongside St Mary’s University, Twickenham. Next month applications will open for people who wish to complete ‘School Direct’ teacher training within the alliance schools in the 2016-17 academic year. You can find out more about the programme by visiting the St Thomas Aquinas Website and clicking the ‘School Direct’ link in the School Information section. If this is something that you or someone that you know may be interested in then why not arrange a chat with Mr Mundy and find out more about what the School Direct programme may be able to offer you
