THINKING OF VOLUNTEERING?

Are you, or someone that you know, thinking of volunteering?  Marriage Care has been present in this parish for many years, delivering Marriage Preparation Courses for engaged couples, or providing support for those in need of Counselling.

We are now looking especially for people to join the Marriage Preparation Team of facilitators.  If you have experience of working with groups and able to dedicate two or three Sundays per year, we would love to hear from you.  Full training will be provided.  You can find our more of the work of Marriage Care by visiting the website

www.marriagecare.org.uk or speaking in the first instance with Fr Christopher.  If interested in taking this further, please contact Brian Emmanuel on 0800 3893801.

NEW STATUES FOR THE YEAR OF MERCY

Two statues have been kindly donated to All Saints Church for the “Year of Mercy” which begins on 8th December.  St Thomas More and St John Fisher now flank the image of the Divine Mercy to the right of the Altar at All Saints Church. These two English Saints from the time of the Reformation showed great trust in the mercy of God and devoted themselves to His service for which they laid down their lives. During the “Year of Mercy” we will reflect on their contribution to the life of the Church and how they exemplified God’s loving mercy in their own lives.

MAY THEY REST IN PEACE

Francesco Pilla, aged 91, late of Windsor Street, whose Funeral Mass (Italian Language) is on Tuesday 24th November, 2:30pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church.
