Newsletter: 20th November 2016

TODAY IS THE SOLEMNITY OF

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST,

UNIVERSAL KING

This weekend the Extra-Ordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy draws to a close. Also, this weekend, the Church in England and Wales celebrates a Day of Prayer for young people.  In response to this, members of our Parish Youth Club will enact a drama at the 6 pm Vigil Mass at St Thomas Aquinas Church and will take part in the Mass.  Please pray for all the young people in our Parish and we thank them for the example they give us of faith and service.

APPLICATIONS TO

BISHOP PARKER and ST THOMAS AQUINAS

SCHOOLS ~ September 2017

If you are currently getting a diary stamped for your child, please note you must complete a Supplementary Form for each Catholic School that you add as a choice. These are now available from each of the School Offices. Diaries need to be handed in to Fr Christopher after the 6pm Mass on Saturday 26th November or the 9am or 11am Mass on Sunday 27th November. If you have a sufficient record of Mass attendance then a reference will be sent directly to Bishop Parker or St Thomas Aquinas School. If your child was Baptised in the Parish there is no need to attach their Baptismal Certificate. References will be sent to parents in December/January and the schools will be ‘copied in’.  The supplementary forms can, therefore, be returned directly to school.
