Do you miss someone?  Would you like to talk about it?  Our Parish Bereavement Group gives you the safe space to share your grief following the loss of a loved one.  We listen and talk about those who are gone and reflect on our faith to guide us through.

A non-religious service will be held on 2nd February 10am at Crownhill Crematorium Chapel, followed by a Requiem Mass on Saturday 3rd February, 11am at All Saints Church.

“Celebration” is a religious education weekend for teenagers, now in its 41st year, will be at Thornton College from  24th-27th August. It is open for youngsters from Year 6 to the Sixth Form. Application forms are available from the priests.

Dr Hahn holds the Father Michael Scanlan Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio, USA) and has written extensively on the scriptural foundations of Catholic theology, as well as working to advance the new evangelization called for by Pope St John Paul II.

LENTEN TIME OF REFLECTION in BEDFORD – ALL WELCOME!

Bedford members of the St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) are to hold an afternoon of reflection at:

 

Ss Philip and James’ Church, Bedford

(MK41 7BX)

on Saturday, 17th February.

 

This is open to all and not just to members of the SVP.  You are most welcome to dip in and out of the day (or just attend the Mass).

The programme is:

  • 2:00pm – Way (Stations) of the Cross
  • 3:15pm – Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament with opportunity for Confession
  • 4:00pm – VIGIL MASS (which fulfils the Sunday Obligation)
  • 5:00pm – Refreshments

Please encourage other people to support this day so that together we might embark upon the season of Lent spiritually prepared!

If you have been issued with a diary in order to obtain a reference from Fr Christopher for a place in a Catholic school in September 2019, please ensure that your diary is now stamped before and after Mass.  At All Saints Church diaries are stamped at the table at the back of Church, on the left as you enter the main door.

At St Thomas Aquinas Church, diaries are stamped in the Sacristy, on the left hand side by the statue of the Sacred Heart.  Please ensure that there is a recent photograph of your child on the inside cover of the diary.
