FAREWELL BUT NOT GOODBYE to Deacon Noel
After 18 Years of faithful service as a Deacon in our Parish, Dcn Noel Guina has decided to retire at the beginning of June. Noel was ordained a Deacon at All Saints Church, Bletchley on 8th July 2000 and has served under three Parish Priests. He has had a number of responsibilities in the Parish not least his involvement in the Journey in Faith Programme, Baptism Preparation and Divine Mercy Devotions. He is much loved by us all and his service as a Deacon amongst us will be greatly missed. On a personal note Noel has been a great friend and support to me and was a tremendous help when I took up the Post of Parish Priest in 2013. Noel ‘s presence in the Parish has provided a sense of continuity and stability between the three incumbencies. Noel has done all this while continuing to work at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office at Hanslope Park, a position from which he will also be retiring from at the end a May. Noel politely requests “no fuss or gifts” as he wants to retire quietly and without any big party. His final Mass will therefore be at 11am on Sunday 3rd June. Our prayers and our love go with him.
