Do you miss someone? Would you like to talk about it? Our Parish Bereavement Group gives you the safe space to share your grief following the loss of a loved one. We listen and talk about those who are gone and reflect on our faith to guide us through.

DIOCESAN TRAINING DAYS FOR CHILDREN’S LITURGISTS AND PARISH READERS
The Diocesan Liturgy Commission are holding a training day to explore the theology concerning children’s liturgy of the word. On Saturday October 6that Holy Ghost Parish centre, Luton all those who are engaged with children’s liturgy, either new or experienced leaders are invited to attend. Also, a readers reflection day is scheduled for Saturday 3rd November at Holy Ghost Parish Centre. This day will specifically focus on the year of Luke beginning in Advent 2018. DEMENTIA Friendly MASS
3 pm Tuesday 25th September: St Thomas Aquinas
An opportunity for those with Dementia and their carers to come together to celebrate Mass and spend some time together in a friendly and supportive environment.
All are very welcome to attend.

FAITH VOLUNTEERS are being sought at HMP Woodhill, where Fr Anton, Parish Priest of Winslow, is the full time Catholic chaplain. The Chaplaincy Department is a dynamic multi-faith team of chaplains and volunteers with a passionate belief in the role of faith in the rehabilitation of the men in their care. Would you consider joining them as a volunteer in the
varying areas of prayer, music, bereavement and counselling support, social visits, admin support, etc? There will be an Open Day there on Wednesday 25th September, 11:30-14:30. To attend or to learn more, please call 01908 722000, asking for the Woodhill Chaplaincy Department or email:

THOMAS TOT’S
Due to ongoing building work at St Thomas Aquinas School, Thomas Tot’s will be held at St Thomas Aquinas Meeting room from Thursday 13th September until further notice. All Pre-School Children are welcome, donation £1 per child.

Fr Christopher is away this week leading a Pilgrimage in Poland with around 30 Parishioners. In his absence please direct all clergy matters to Fr Benedetto.
