All Welcome

PARISH PATRONAL SOLEMNITY
As a Parish family, we will be celebrating this Sunday the Solemnity of St Thomas Aquinas, priest and Doctor of the Church, who is the patron saint
of our Parish community. The readings and propers at Mass are therefore those proscribed for the Feast Day rather than the Sunday. Last year Ms Nina Delisser kindly presented the parish with the gift of a Holy Relic (first class) of St Thomas Aquinas complete with documents of authentication. The veneration of Holy Relics is a rich part of Catholic tradition and piety and helps us to make a real and tangible connection with the Saints who have gone before us. The relic of our Holy Patron will be processed into Church and placed in the sanctuary during the 6pm Vigil Mass, 9am Mass & 11am Mass with the opportunity to personally venerate the relic at the end of Mass. St Thomas Aquinas, ora pro nobis.

The Statue will be at Northampton Cathedral from 5pm on Thursday 7th February 2019 until the closing Mass at 12noon on Saturday 9th February 2019.
