LATIN IN LENT
During the season of Lent the music at Mass needs to be more sombre in tone to reflect the season. We will therefore sing the Mass setting to the simplex Latin tone at the 6pm Vigil Mass and 9am & 11am Mass. Music and text can be found in the hymn book (number 505 for the Sanctus and 509 for the Angus Dei). There is of course no Gloria sung or said during Lent and the word Alleluia is not used until Easter.

MASS STIPENDS FOR AFRICA
Fr Francis, the Parish Priest of St Agatha’s Parish in Mongu, Zambia, has kindly offered to say a Mass for your intentions. St Thomas Aquinas & All Saints Parish has been supporting St Agatha’s Parish over a number of years through our Parish charity SEPO. There is very little income to support the priests in the Parish and Mass Stipends for your Intentions would go a long way to help. If you would like a Mass said by Fr Francis please: Write your name on an envelope. Write what / who your intention is for and enclose an offering. We suggest a donation £10 per Mass. Please mark the Envelope “SEPO”. The envelope can be placed in the collection basket, handed in at the Parish Office or given to Fr Christopher or Fr Benedetto.
