POPE FRANCIS’ PRAYER INTENTIONS FOR JUNE 2019: The Mode of Life of Priests. That priests, through the modesty and humility of their lives, commit themselves actively to a solidarity with those who are most poor.

Please pray for repose of the soul of
Sylvia Palmer, whose funeral Mass will be on Monday 17th June, 12:30pm at All Saints Church.
John Patterson, who passed away in hospital on Thursday. Funeral details to follow.
We offer our sincere sympathy and the loving support of our faith and prayers to all the recently bereaved.

Day for Life – Defending and supporting the rights and dignity of the human person from conception to natural death.

A Prayer for Fathers
Heavenly Father,
you entrusted your Son Jesus,
the child of Mary,
to the care of Joseph, an earthly father.
Bless all fathers
as they care for their families.
Give them strength and wisdom,
tenderness and patience;
support them in the work they have to do,
protecting those who look to them,
as we look to you for love and salvation,
through Jesus Christ our rock and defender. Amen.

Thank you to those who have completed and returned the Parish Audit / Questionnaire forms which were given out to all parishioners two weeks ago. We will in time be in touch with all those who have expressed an interest in taking on a new role in the life of the Parish as we work through the forms we have received. Copies of the form are still available at the back of Church for those who have been away and we encourage you to take the time to fill it in and consider how you may serve the Parish.

Fr Francis, the Parish Priest of St Agatha’s Parish in Mongu, Zambia, has kindly offered to say a Mass for your intentions. Fr Francis’ Parish and its projects are supported by our Parish Charity SEPO and we enjoy a strong link with his parishioners. Parishioners from Bletchley regularly visit St Agatha’s Parish and some of our staff from the Bletchley Catholic Schools Federation have spent time teaching in their school. A donation for a Mass Intention goes a long way in supporting the Parish Priest, covering the cost of food and housing.

If you would like a Mass said by Fr Francis please: Write your name on an envelope. Write what / who your intention is for and enclose an offering. We suggest a donation £10 per Mass. Please mark the Envelope “SEPO”. The envelope can be placed in the collection basket, handed in at the Parish Office or given to Fr Christopher or Fr Benedetto.
