Christmas Crib Appeal
Throughout Christmastide we invite you to make a donation at the Christmas Crib to help the children’s arm of Missio (called “Mission Together”) in support of some of the world’s most deprived children. Your support this Christmas will help many children across the world to:
~ Hear the story of Jesus and see His love for them
~ Benefit from a healthy meal
~ Receive an education, a home and safety.

May all children
In all the world
Share love
Share friendship and live
In the peace
Of God’s love
Now and forever
Amen

Parish Office Holiday Closure
The Parish Office will re-open on the 6th January.

Clergy Post-Christmas Leave
Fr Christopher is away visiting his parents in Cornwall until Saturday 11th January. In his absence please direct all clergy matters to Fr Emmanuel.

Recycling – Refuse Sacks
As a Parish we are very conscious of the moral and ethical imperative to recycle as much as we can and to avoid unnecessary waste ending up in landfill. We have over the years had a steady supply of re-cycling sacks from Milton Keynes Council, however this supply is drying up and recycling sacks are no longer issued by the council to Churches. On average we use around 10 sacks per week so we need your help. If you have any surplus rolls of recycling sacks could you bring them to church and leave them in the sacristy. Together we can therefore ensure that we are able to recycle as much as we can.

New Year’s Resolution:
Make a Difference Through CAFOD

Try something that is calorie-free and life giving. We really need people who are interested to go into our Catholic schools and inspire students to act on their sense of justice. You don’t have to be a teacher to do this role, only a passion for CAFOD’s work and an ability to communicate well with children and young people. If you are good at motivating others we have the ideal role for you – inspiring other volunteers in nearby parishes. Also, we would love to share more of the great acts of love carried out by our parishes and schools via media. So if you are able to help promote our work in this way, we would love to hear from you. All necessary training, travel expenses and resources will be provided. To get in touch: northampton@cafod.org.uk or 01494 863 777.
