The Parish has a wealth of volunteers, the back-bone of the parish. Most are unsung heroes, here are a few whose details may be of use to you:
Parish Welcomer: Jim Butler. If you are new to the parish, please fill in the slip on the weekly bulletin and drop it in the collection basket. Jim and the Legion of Mary will make contact with you to see how you are settling in.
Parish Visit Co-ordinator: Maggie Osgathorpe. Many parishioners are visited; Maggie co-ordinates the visiting.
Parish Safeguarding Representative: Marie Day (07882713797) is always available should you wish to discuss any issue relating to the protection of children or vulnerable adults within the parish.
Parish Ecumenical Representative: Rosemary Kingdon. Rosemary attends meetings of Churches Together in Bletchley and co-ordinates our participation in ecumenical events. Elizabeth Richardson represents us on the Churches Together in Bletchley.
CAFOD: Our CAFOD parish representative is Maggie Osgathorpe. Maggie organises our monthly coffee morning in aid of CAFOD and helps to promote our aid to the Third World.
Catholic Chaplain at Milton Keynes General Hospital: If you know of anybody who is going into hospital, please contact Catholic Chaplaincy on 01908 996061. The days are gone when we used to be provided with a list of Catholic patients, so to avoid being missed, please inform Catholic Chaplaincy or the hospital ward staff. The priests of the town are on a rota for emergency cover. If you are going into hospital and would like the Sacrament of the Sick beforehand, please contact Fr Christopher who is happy to help. On a Sunday, Holy Communion is brought to all Catholics on our list by Eucharistic Ministers from Coffee Hall or Bletchley.
If you would like to participate or offer your services to any of the Parish Groups, committees, etc, please do not hesitate to contact one of the Parish team.
