Safeguarding survey for volunteers
As you may know there has been an independent review of safeguarding arrangements in the Catholic Church in England and Wales.
The review established 8 national safeguarding standards which explain what the Church must do in order to safeguard members of the Catholic church, those we minister to and those we come into contact with. One of the standards relates to embedding safeguarding into Church Governance, Ministry, and Culture. Amongst other things, this will require Church Leaders to provide the right resources to support parishes in their safeguarding responsibilities.
As a volunteer, we would like your views on how we go forward in the future, we would therefore be grateful if you could complete the survey by either clicking on the link or typing it in on your IT equipment:

Your responses will be collated and analysed by the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) (privacy notice can be found here Procedures Manual – CSAS) who will ensure that information about how best to support parishes is fed back to Church leaders via an overarching thematic report. Additionally, responses will be provided back to each diocese to inform them about local needs.
